Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL) has finalized a landmark exploration license agreement with the Department of Mines and Geology (DMG), Rajasthan, targeting Rare Earth Elements (REE) in the Nawatala–Devigarh block.
The deal stands out as the first exploration license executed in India under the updated critical mineral policy framework, bolstering the country’s push toward domestic resource independence.

Authorized Signatories: Executed by M.P. Meena (Director, DMG Rajasthan) on behalf of the Governor of Rajasthan, and Vikrant Gupta (HoD – Business Development, CMPDIL).
