NEW DELHI — Demonstrating a firm stance on youth employment issues, the Congress party has aligned itself with student protesters in Ranchi demanding accountability over alleged recruitment exam irregularities in Jharkhand.
Despite sharing power in the state’s ruling coalition with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), senior leader Rahul Gandhi asserted that governments across party lines must listen to student grievances and overhaul what he described as an oppressive and failing education system. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge echoed these sentiments, confirming that the party is writing to the state leadership to address the issue directly.
