CHANDIGARH: In a major administrative development, the Punjab government has officially appointed Sanjay Gupta, the outgoing Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh, as the new Chairperson of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC). The statutory appointment orders were formally cleared and issued by the Governor of Punjab.
