NEW DELHI — Ensuring executive stability in central administration, the government has cleared a major central deputation extension for Ms. Priyanka Chandra, allowing her to continue as Director within the Ministry of Culture.
The approved order extends her current assignment by two years past her original October 3, 2026 deadline, locking her into the key bureaucratic post until October 3, 2028.
