KOLKATA — The Government of West Bengal has executed a structural administrative adjustment, expanding the portfolio of senior bureaucrat Anshul Gupta to reinforce the state’s essential commodity distribution network.
Gupta, a 2013-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the West Bengal cadre, is the standing Director of the Information and Cultural Affairs Department. Under the newly issued state orders, he has been entrusted with the additional charge of Director, District Distribution Procurement and Supply within the Food and Supplies Department.
