NEW DELHI — Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with over 400 youth participants of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme 2026 via video conferencing on July 26, 2026, at 4:30 PM.

Organized through the MY Bharat platform, the nationwide initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of treating frontier border settlements as the “first villages of the nation” and integrating them into the broader Viksit Bharat development roadmap.

    Program Highlights & Impact

    • Youth Selection: Over 400 youth representing every State and UT were chosen through a national online quiz competition that saw participation from over 3 lakh candidates.

    • Geographic Coverage: Conducted across two phases from June 4 to June 30, 2026, encompassing 74 Vibrant Villages in Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

    • Immersive Engagement: Participants stayed with local border communities, conducting Swachhta drives, tree plantation initiatives, Mini Model Panchayat simulations, and visits to strategic institutions.

    • National Objective: Aims to deepen national integration and provide youth with direct exposure to the socio-economic and cultural landscape of India’s frontier regions.
