The Union Government has approved the central deputation of Viswanadh R, a 2016-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Kerala cadre, appointing him as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
In his new role, the officer will join the country’s primary counter-terrorism law enforcement agency, taking charge of key investigative and security mandates across its operational divisions.
