In a key administrative development within the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, senior communication strategist Yogesh Kumar Baweja has been promoted to the Higher Grade, stepping into the position of Principal Director General (Principal DG).
Baweja, a 1991-batch veteran of the Indian Information Service (IIS), was previously serving in the High Administrative Grade (HAG) scale. Following this elevation to the apex level, he will continue to head the office of the Press Registrar General of India (PRGI) until further orders.
