NEW DELHI – The Delhi Government has implemented a major administrative reshuffle, reassigning top IAS officers to critical roles in finance, power, and urban development to boost governance efficiency.
Dr. G. Narendra Kumar takes over as the Financial Commissioner, a role central to the capital’s fiscal management. Meanwhile, Prasant Goyal has been granted a wide-ranging mandate as ACS, Food & Supplies, alongside additional charges as ACS Power, ACS Administrative Reforms, and CMD of both the DFC and DSCSC.
Strategic District and Urban Appointments:

Soumya Saurabh: Appointed DM (North West) and Deputy Commissioner, with the added responsibility of Special Secretary, Industries.

Sonika Singh: Steps in as the Commissioner of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to oversee land and housing projects.
This realignment is aimed at streamlining the delivery of essential services and accelerating infrastructure development across the National Capital Territory.
