NEW DELHI – The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has named Vishwajit Sahay as the new Secretary (Defence Finance) within the Ministry of Defence. A veteran officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), Sahay transitions to this senior role from his current position as the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA).
