NEW DELHI — In a major push toward digital transformation and farmer welfare under the vision of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi”, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah will launch several key initiatives of NAFED tomorrow, June 23, 2026, at the Atal Akshay Urja Bhawan in New Delhi.
The event will also be attended by Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, NAFED Chairman Shri Jethabhai Ahir, and Managing Director Shri Deepak Agarwal.
Key Digital & Welfare Initiatives to Be Launched

NAFEX.in (Auction Portal): A specialized digital platform designed to bring transparency, efficiency, and ease of operations to agricultural produce auctions, directly benefiting farmers, member institutions, and stakeholders. A live registration demonstration and the launch of the auction process will take place during the event.

NAFED-KALYAN Scholarship: A welfare initiative supporting the education of farmers’ children. The Home Minister will personally distribute the scholarship cheques during the programme.

DRISHTI Portal: A dedicated inventory management system specifically designed for tracking and managing stocks of pulses and oilseeds.

ERP Portal: An Enterprise Resource Planning system aimed at streamlining internal operations and strengthening NAFED’s overall administrative efficiency.
Board Meeting & Strategic Roadmap
Following the launch, Shri Amit Shah will chair a high-level meeting with the NAFED Board of Directors. The board will present a comprehensive review of NAFED’s ongoing activities, its progress report, action taken on previous ministerial directives, and its strategic future roadmap.
The rollout of these tech-driven and student-centric reforms underscores the government’s commitment to strengthening cooperative institutions through modern technology and transparency.
