KOLKATA — Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) – Power Sector Eastern Region has floated a short-notice tender for structural engineering and modification works at Unit-5 (1×660 MW) of the Sagardighi Thermal Power Plant in West Bengal.
The contract covers coal spillage prevention through bunker enclosures, along with truss fabrication and roof sheeting at the site. BHEL will supply the structural steel free of charge, with the selected contractor required to mobilize within three days of contract issuance and complete the scope within two months.
