    NEW DELHI – Neyveli Uttar Pradesh Power Limited (NUPPL) reached a major operational peak on May 6, 2026, as its Unit 3 successfully achieved full load generation of 660 MW.

    This milestone is a significant boost for India’s power grid, signaling that the unit is now capable of operating at its maximum designed capacity to help meet the country’s surging electricity demand.
