KORAPUT: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) is fast-tracking its capacity expansion, with the company’s top leadership conducting a comprehensive on-site progress review of the crucial 5th Stream Expansion Project at its Refinery Complex in Damanjodi, Koraput (Odisha).
The high-level evaluation was spearheaded by NALCO Chairman and Managing Director B.P. Singh, alongside Jagdish Arora, Director (Projects & Technical). Accompanied by Executive Directors and technical project consultants, the leadership team inspected the construction zones to closely analyze execution milestones, engineering bottlenecks, and the structural readiness of the new facility.
Driving Production and Operational Scale
The 5th Stream Expansion is a cornerstone initiative designed to substantially boost NALCO’s alumina refining output, directly feeding into the company’s long-term growth and supply-chain independence.
The primary objectives of the high-decibel review included:
