NEW DELHI – Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended his heartiest greetings to the people of Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of Himachal Diwas.
In a message shared on X (formerly Twitter), the Prime Minister lauded the unique identity of the “Devbhoomi,” emphasizing the state’s rich traditions and the distinct character of its citizens.
Honoring the Spirit of “Devbhoomi”

Himachal Diwas is celebrated annually on April 15 to commemorate the creation of the province in 1948. The Prime Minister’s message underscores the central government’s appreciation for the state’s ongoing contribution to the nation’s progress and cultural fabric.
