NEW DELHI — The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, in partnership with the Ministry of Home Affairs, has launched a national-level quiz on the MY Bharat platform to select participants for the Viksit Vibrant Villages Program (VVVP) 2026. This initiative focuses on engaging youth with the development of strategic border regions, including Leh-Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
Selection Process and Timeline
The quiz serves as the initial qualifying stage for an immersive engagement program:

Quiz Dates: The online competition is open from May 10 to May 20, 2026.

Participation: Interested youth can enter the contest via the official MY Bharat portal.

Evaluation: Following the quiz, top performers will undergo eligibility and fitness evaluations.

Selection: A total of 500 MY Bharat volunteers from various States and Union Territories will be chosen for the final program.
Immersive Field Program: June 2026
Selected volunteers will participate in a one-week intensive program in June 2026, focusing on grassroots development and national integration. Activities in the border villages will include:

Community Outreach: Engaging in Swachhta drives, awareness campaigns, and youth interaction sessions.

Skill Sharing: Conducting career counseling for local residents and participating in environmental initiatives.
