NEW DELHI — Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nationwide Khelo India Dialogue via video conferencing on August 27 at 11 AM, engaging youth across the country in a strategic discussion on sports infrastructure, civic leadership, and nation-building initiatives.
Organized by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) as a prelude to National Sports Day 2026 celebrations, the initiative will feature synchronized participation at two colleges in every district across all States and Union Territories.
Key Themes of the ‘Yuva Samvaad’ Platform
The central pillar of the event, structured as the Yuva Samvaad, will invite young participants to share ideas and perspectives aligned with five core national objectives:
-
Sports Ecosystem Upgradation: Strengthening sports science, coaching standards, inclusive participation, and infrastructure nationwide.
-
2036 Olympic Aspirations: Nurturing young athletic talent through scientific identification systems, transparent selection protocols, and long-term athlete development programs.
-
Youth Leadership & Governance: Fostering leadership skills among youth through structured civic platforms and MY Bharat-led volunteering initiatives.
-
Empowering Youth for Viksit Bharat: Building future-ready skills, civic responsibility, and community action to support national development goals.
-
Nasha Mukt Yuva Movement: Mobilizing sports networks and peer support to combat substance abuse, integrated with weekly Jan Bhagidari activities under the Prime Minister’s 100-week nationwide campaign launched earlier this month.
Nationwide Interactive Format
Following the Prime Minister’s opening address, district-level interactive sessions will convene local participants, MY Bharat volunteers, public representatives, and prominent regional athletes.
The nationwide program aims to establish a direct channel between aspiring youth, decorated medal winners, and policy frameworks to align grassroots sporting talent with India’s long-term athletic and youth development agenda.
