    NEW DELHI — Central Public Sector Enterprise REC Limited has been awarded First Prize by the Ministry of Power for its outstanding implementation of the Official Language Policy for the financial year 2025–26.

    The award was presented during the meeting of the Hindi Salahkar Samiti of the Ministry of Power, recognizing REC’s leadership among all central public sector enterprises, subordinate offices, and organizations within the power sector.

      • Shri Pankaj Agrawal, Secretary, Ministry of Power.

      • Shri Dinesh Sharma, Former Deputy Chief Minister of UP and current Rajya Sabha MP.

      • Shri Suresh Kumar Kashyap, Lok Sabha MP.

    Institutional Significance and Compliance Highlights

    • Sectoral Distinction: REC earned the top position across all power sector CPSEs and institutional bodies under the Ministry of Power for FY 2025–26.

    • Governance Focus: The recognition highlights REC’s institutional compliance with Official Language Policy directives, integration of Hindi in daily administrative workflows, and implementation of national-level official language initiatives.
