New Delhi — Retired 1992-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Subhash Chandra Lal Das has taken over as the Chairperson of the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC).
The commission’s leadership team is further bolstered by the appointments of Ajay Kumar Jain and Praveen Gupta as official members, effectively resolving a chairperson vacancy that had remained open since July 2025. Earlier bureaucratic forecasts had previously positioned Das as a top prospect to lead the Banks Board Bureau.
