NEW DELHI — The Ministry of Steel, along with its Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), has launched the Implementation Phase of the Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) 6.0, running from October 2 to October 31, 2026.
The launch follows the successful completion of the Preparatory Phase (September 15–30, 2026), during which operational targets were established to streamline administrative processes, enhance service delivery, and reclaim office spaces.
Core Targets & Key Focus Areas

Record & File Management: Dedicated drives will process and dispose of 20,763 physical files and 9,056 e-files to reduce administrative clutter and digitize workflow.

Public Grievance Redressal: High priority will be accorded to resolving 37 pending public grievances, aiming to achieve zero pendency by the end of the campaign period.

Swachhata & Office Space Reclamation: A total of 301 cleanliness drives will be executed across ministry offices and CPSE units nationwide to maintain clean, efficient working environments.

High-Level Reference Clearance: Targeted efforts will focus on the time-bound clearance of pending references from Members of Parliament (MPs), the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), state governments, and VIP communications.
