NEW DELHI — In a key administrative development, Amandeep, a 2014-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the West Bengal cadre, is set to take charge of a central assignment within the Cabinet Secretariat.
The officer’s move to the apex executive body at the Centre comes as part of regular bureaucratic appointments aimed at inducting experienced cadre officers into central governance and policy execution functions.
