NEW DELHI – The Department of Justice is set to organize National Consultation 2026 under the Tele-Law initiative on March 29, 2026. The event, held at Vigyan Bhawan, aims to advance technology-driven legal services under the DISHA (Designing Innovative Solutions for Holistic Access to Justice) Scheme.
The consultation will be graced by Vice-President Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan as the Chief Guest and Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State (IC) for Law and Justice, as the Guest of Honour.

Nyaya Setu AI Chatbot & Mascot: Launch of an AI-powered digital bridge to provide instant legal information and assist citizens in navigating dispute resolution mechanisms.

“Voice of Beneficiaries” Booklet: A collection of transformative stories from individuals impacted by Tele-Law services during 2025–26.

NLU Delhi Comic Books: A series of innovative legal literacy tools designed to simplify complex legal concepts for youth and first-time users.

White Paper Release: Unveiling of strategic recommendations and best practices for strengthening last-mile justice delivery.
Strengthening Grassroots Justice
The event will feature live interactions with Tele-Law Panel Lawyers, Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), and beneficiaries to showcase the real-time impact of digital legal aid. A dedicated segment will also highlight Pro Bono initiatives led by faculty and students from prominent law colleges in Delhi.
With an expected attendance of 1,200 participants, including officials from the Supreme Court e-Committee and NALSA, the consultation serves as a critical platform for shaping the future roadmap of inclusive justice in India. The programme will also include a special cultural segment commemorating 150 years of the National Song, “Vande Mataram.”
