In preparation for Raksha Bandhan on August 28, 2026, the Department of Posts (Delhi Circle) has initiated nationwide operational arrangements to facilitate the timely, secure, and uninterrupted transmission of Rakhi mail.
To manage heavy seasonal demand and prevent last-minute overcrowding, special Rakhi mail booking counters will operate through August 22, 2026, across 34 prominent post offices in Delhi, alongside dedicated Transit Mail Offices at Delhi Railway Station and New Delhi Railway Station.
