NEW DELHI — The Department of Sports under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has initiated preparations for Special Campaign 6.0, focusing on workplace cleanliness, pending matter resolution, and systematic e-waste management.
Following the groundwork phase conducted from September 15 to September 30, 2026, the campaign aims to set higher governance standards across the ministry and its affiliated bodies in alignment with directives from the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
Key Objectives & Operational Scope

Core Focus: Enhancing workplace cleanliness, streamlining administrative processes, expediting the disposal of pending official matters, and executing scientific e-waste management (“Effective Collection, Segregation, and Disposal”).

Participating Entities: Department of Sports, Sports Authority of India (SAI), Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), National Sports University (NSU), National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA), and National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL).
