NEW DELHI — In an official executive placement within the central administration, the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) has cleared the appointment of senior civil servant Sachin Mittal as Joint Secretary, Lokpal.
According to the central deputation order, Mittal will head the administrative operations of the anti-corruption ombudsman for a five-year term, or until subsequent organizational updates.
