Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer Ms. Geeta Mohapatra has been appointed as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bengaluru, securing a three-year tenure at the country’s premier aerospace and defence manufacturer.
The appointment, cleared by the Central Government, places Ms. Mohapatra at the helm of vigilance governance under the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.
Ms. Mohapatra transitions to HAL from her deputation role as Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hassan Mangalore Rail Development Company Limited (HMRDC), bringing extensive experience in rail infrastructure and corporate administration to the defence public sector undertaking.
