CHANDIGARH — The Haryana Government has implemented a strategic administrative shake-up, issuing transfer and posting orders for 10 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers with immediate effect. The order, issued on April 8, 2026, by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, reallocates key responsibilities across the state’s mining, finance, health, and district administrations.

The reshuffle places several senior officers in charge of critical state departments:

C. G. Rajini Kaanthan (2004): Appointed as Commissioner & Secretary to the Government, Haryana, Mines & Geology Department, relieving Pankaj Agarwal (2000).

Saket Kumar (2005): Assigned as Commissioner & Secretary, Archives Department, in addition to his existing duties.

J. Ganesan (2006): Named Chairman of the Haryana State Pollution Control Board and Commissioner & Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, relieving Vineet Garg (1991) and Mohammed Shayin (2002).
