NEW DELHI — In a swift administrative transition, 1997-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Manoj Kumar Dwivedi was appointed Chairperson of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) on Wednesday, taking the helm of the capital’s central civic administration.
The appointment was formalized by the Delhi government shortly after Dwivedi was repatriated to his parent cadre from his central deputation. Prior to his current assignment, he was serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
