NEW DELHI — The Office of the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), under the Ministry of Textiles, is set to host a special event titled ‘Srijan: Voices from the Loom’ on August 13, 2026, at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi.
The national event aims to recognize and celebrate the resilience, creativity, and contributions of women weavers who serve as custodians of India’s rich handloom heritage.
