NEW DELHI: In a short-term top-level administrative rearrangement, the Central Government has assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Sports, to Ms. Pallavi Jain Govil, IAS.
The order, issued on June 8, 2026, by the Secretariat of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training), states that the Competent Authority has cleared the appointment with immediate effect.
