Demonstrating a strong commitment to institutional employee welfare, Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) Dudhichua Area, in collaboration with Union Bank of India (UBI), hosted a formal claim settlement ceremony to extend financial relief to the surviving families of two deceased miners.
Through the Union Bank Corporate Salary Account Scheme, insurance payouts amounting to ₹2 crore were distributed, providing ₹1 crore each to Smt. Ramjani Devi (spouse of the Late Ram Sajiwan Vaisya) and Smt. Sunita Devi (spouse of the Late Santosh Kumar Dubey).
Presiding over the ceremony alongside UBI representatives and joint consultative committee members, Area General Manager Shri Vinod Kumar Singh underscored that while no sum can replace lost lives, swift insurance distribution provides essential long-term financial security for bereaved dependents.
