NEW DELHI — Moving to fill a vital administrative vacancy, the Central Government has officially designated senior bureaucrat Ms. Nivedita Shukla Verma to take additional charge as Secretary of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER).
Verma will manage this key regional development portfolio alongside her existing primary responsibilities at the center. She currently handles a heavy administrative workload as the full-time Secretary for both the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) and the Department of Pensions and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW).
