BHUBANESWAR — In a historic joint visit, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, are scheduled to arrive in Odisha on June 20, 2026. The high-profile visit marks a rare dual appearance by the country’s top two leaders in the state.
The visit coincides with the completion of two years of the Government of Odisha. To celebrate the milestone, the leaders will participate in a massive developmental convention at Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district under the theme “Vikas ra Dhara, Odisha Sara” (Stream of Development Across Odisha), where they will inaugurate or lay the foundation stones for infrastructure projects valued at over ₹47,600 crore.

11:15 AM (Pahadpur Village, Mayurbhanj): The President and Prime Minister will start their tour at Pahadpur. They will offer prayers at the sacred tribal groves of Santhali Jahera and Ho Jahera, followed by visits to the local Skill Centre and Pahadpur School. The segment highlights the central government’s focus on tribal education, skill development, and rural empowerment.

1:00 PM (Rairangpur, Mayurbhanj): The leaders will head the main state program marking the two-year anniversary of the state government. The Prime Minister will address a massive public gathering and officially kick off the development bundle spanning energy, transit, and irrigation sectors.
