NEW DELHI — The central government has sanctioned a one-year extension for Amrit Agrahari in his role as Director of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
The decision ensures that Agrahari, a 2011 batch IRS-IT officer, will remain at his post beyond his scheduled departure date of July 9, 2026. This administrative move provides stability within the PMO’s core team as the government moves into the latter half of the decade.
