CHENNAI — In a late-Friday administrative directive, the Tamil Nadu government expanded the portfolio of veteran IPS officer Mrs. Seema Agrawal, assigning her a key oversight role in the state’s safety infrastructure.
Agrawal, who holds the apex Director General of Police (DGP) rank, has officially taken on the additional charge of Chairman, Fire Commission, Tamil Nadu.
