NEW DELHI — Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ayush and Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Shri Prataprao Jadhav, chaired the 27th Governing Body meeting of the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) in New Delhi, announcing a series of digital and physical infrastructure projects aimed at modernizing Ayurveda.

Addressing the assembly alongside Ayush Secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha and CCRAS Director General Prof. Rabinarayan Acharya, the Minister highlighted technology, research, and startup collaboration as essential drivers to take Ayurveda from laboratories to global markets under the “Heal in India” vision.

    Key Infrastructure Projects Inaugurated

    • Nagpur (RARI): Performed the Bhoomi Poojan for a new 50-bedded Ayurveda Hospital.

    • Pune (RARI): Virtually inaugurated a dedicated Animal House facility.

    • Ranikhet (RARI): Virtually inaugurated the newly constructed Staff Quarters Complex.

    Digital & Research Initiatives Launched

    • CCRAS-PARAMPARA: A flagship initiative aimed at the systematic documentation, evaluation, and scientific validation of India’s Local Health Traditions, ethnomedical practices, and traditional veterinary knowledge.

    • National Research Recognitions Portal: A unified digital platform hosting CCRAS PRAKASA, CCRAS NAVONMESA, and CCRAS PRABODH 3MT to recognize postgraduate Ayurveda research, innovation, and scientific communication.

    • Ayur-dict App: CCRAS’s first Android application, integrating multiple classical Ayurveda dictionaries into a single searchable digital platform.

The meeting reaffirmed the Ministry’s focus on evidence-based research, translational startup accelerators, and AI integration into clinical data management while maintaining the core principles of classical Ayurvedic medicine.
