NEW DELHI — In a major paramilitary administrative restructuring, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued orders for the lateral transfer of senior Odisha-cadre Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Amitendra Nath Sinha from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) to the Border Security Force (BSF).
The 2002-batch officer will serve as Inspector General (IG) in the BSF for the remainder of his sanctioned central deputation tenure through July 10, 2028.
