NEW DELHI — Senior IAS officer Ujjwal Kumar Ghosh has been assigned additional responsibility as Director (Inspection & Quality Control) of the Export Inspection Council of India (EIC), effective September 25, 2026.
Ghosh, a 2008-batch Karnataka-cadre officer currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce, will head the trade certification body for a term of six months or until a permanent director is appointed.
