NEW DELHI — In a significant top-level reshuffle of the Indian Army, Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth has been appointed as the next Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS). Currently serving as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Pune-based Southern Command, he is scheduled to assume his new role at Army Headquarters on April 1, 2026.
