NEW DELHI — In a recent high-level central administrative movement, senior IPS officer A. Shiyas has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) in the Border Security Force (BSF) on a central deputation basis.
The 2008-batch officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre will assume leadership duties within the country’s primary border-guarding force as per central police deputation terms.
