NEW DELHI — In a strategic administrative consolidation, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has assigned the additional charge of Secretary for both the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) and the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) to senior bureaucrat Sudhansh Pant.
Pant, a 1991-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Rajasthan cadre, currently heads the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment as its Union Secretary.
