MUMBAI — The Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, in partnership with the Government of Maharashtra, is hosting a two-day National Conference on Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) in Mumbai on September 11–12, 2026.
Chaired by Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya alongside Union Minister of State Shobha Karandlaje, the summit brings together State/UT Labour Ministers, Secretaries, and BOCW Welfare Board Chairpersons to assess, deploy, and scale digital welfare infrastructure for India’s unorganized construction workforce.
