NAGPUR — State-run mining major MOIL Limited has opted for price continuity across its entire product spectrum, maintaining existing benchmark rates for all manganese ore categories and Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD) throughout September 2026.
The Miniratna PSU disclosed the pricing schedule in a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges under SEBI Listing Regulations on September 1.
Product-Wise Price Structure
The basic prices across all major industrial categories remain unchanged from August rates, taking effect immediately on September 1:
-
High & Medium Ferro-Grade Ore (Mn ≥ 44%): Held steady with zero price adjustment.
-
Low Ferro-Grade Ore (Mn < 44%): Maintained at existing benchmark levels.
-
Chemical, Silico Manganese Grade (SMGR), & Fines: Rolled over without revision.
-
Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD): Fixed at ₹1.80 lakh per tonne.
-
EMD Flakes: Retained at ₹1.71 lakh per tonne.
Industry Impact
MOIL’s price rollover provides crucial raw material cost visibility for primary steelmakers, ferroalloy manufacturers, and energy storage producers. The decision enables downstream industrial buyers to plan monthly procurement budgets without immediate input cost inflation.
