NEW DELHI — The Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), chaired by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, has granted Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) for tri-services capital acquisition proposals valued at approximately ₹1,10,000 crore.
Underlining the government’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat policy framework, approximately 98% of the total procurement value will be sourced from domestic defense manufacturing entities.
