SINGRAULI — State-run Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has released an accidental death claim payout of ₹50 lakh to the family of late staff member Shri Shailendra Singh Parihar at a formal distribution ceremony held in the Nigahi Area.

The financial relief was processed under the State Bank of India (SBI) Corporate Salary Account Scheme and handed over directly to the deceased employee’s wife, Smt. Saroj Singh.

Core Claim Details & Official Attendance

    • Primary Recipient: Smt. Saroj Singh (spouse of late NCL employee Shri Shailendra Singh Parihar).

    • Disbursement Amount: ₹50 lakh via SBI’s Corporate Salary Account insurance framework.

    • Issuing Authority: Nigahi Area, Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL).

    • Key Attendees: NCL Nigahi Area General Manager Shri Ratanjay Singh, Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) representatives, senior executive staff, and official delegates from the State Bank of India.

Administrative Response & Social Security Policy

Offering condolences to the surviving family members, Nigahi Area General Manager Shri Ratanjay Singh noted that while monetary compensation cannot replace the loss of a life, timely insurance settlement helps mitigate immediate financial hardships for dependent families.

The management reaffirmed NCL’s ongoing operational focus on expediting social security entitlements, group insurance claims, and welfare support for its mining and administrative workforce across all operational zones.
