NEW DELHI — In a key top-tier bureaucratic development, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has formally approved the empanelment of Manish Kumar Gupta, a senior 1991-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the AGMUT cadre, for Secretary-equivalent positions within the Union Government.
The decision places the veteran administrator in the central pool for upcoming high-level assignments across Union Ministries and central departments.
