Enhanced Services and Logistics
The Ministry has introduced several new initiatives to elevate the quality of services for the 2026 season. Key arrangements include:
-
Medical & Logistical Support: Comprehensive assistance is being coordinated in real-time with the Consulate General of India in Jeddah and Saudi authorities.
-
Infrastructure: Improved facilities at various embarkation points across India to handle the large volume of travelers.
-
Inclusive Reforms: Continued efforts to make the pilgrimage more transparent and accessible for all sections of society.
Digitization and Transparency
During his interaction with the departing group, Secretary Dr. Krishna highlighted the impact of sustained administrative reforms. The end-to-end digitization of the application process and enhanced transparency in selection have significantly streamlined the experience for pilgrims nationwide.
“Our goal is to make the Haj process more inclusive and efficient. Technology-driven interventions ensure that every pilgrim receives the support they need, from application to their return home,” said Dr. Krishna.
With a record number of pilgrims and strengthened infrastructure, the Government of India aims to make Haj 2026 a benchmark for safety, comfort, and administrative efficiency.
