NEW DELHI — The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), a statutory body under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, has concluded its special “Pan-India Rescue and Rehabilitation” campaign, successfully rescuing more than 3,800 children from illegal child labour and exploitation.
Executed from June 12 to August 31, 2026, the nationwide drive focused on target enforcement, inter-agency coordination, and statutory prosecution across high-risk child labour and trafficking hotspots in multiple States and Union Territories.
Operational Scope & Administrative Execution
