    NEW DELHI — Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat officially launched the 8th Edition of the PM Mementos e-Auction in New Delhi on Wednesday. Starting September 17, 2026, members of the public, collectors, and institutions can bid on 1,498 distinct gifts and mementos presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various occasions.

    All proceeds generated from the public e-auction will be contributed directly to the Namami Gange Programme for the conservation and rejuvenation of the River Ganga.

    • 1,498 Total Artifacts: The collection celebrates India’s art, craftsmanship, spiritual traditions, and sporting milestones, with strong regional representations from states like West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Assam, Bihar, and Odisha.

    • 50 Featured ‘Hero Objects’: Highlighted items with high base prices include:

      • Silver Memento of Lord Ram (Karnataka) – Base price: ₹13.50 lakh

      • Silver Replica of Kakatiya Kala Thoranam – Base price: ₹9 lakh

      • Framed Tree of Life Gond Art Painting – Base price: ₹7.50 lakh

      • Jagannath Parivar on Chariot – Base price: ₹6 lakh

      • 99.99 Fine Gold-Plated Framed Radha Krishna Artwork – Base price: ₹5.40 lakh

    • Official Bidding Portal: Interested buyers can browse items and participate online via www.pmmementos.gov.in.

    • Public Exhibition: Coordinated by the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), New Delhi, a physical exhibition is open to visitors to view the items before placing their bids.
