NEW DELHI – In a move to strengthen India’s technological landscape, Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL), a Mini Ratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).
The collaboration is set to focus on the joint implementation of projects involving high-end technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), 5G, and Cyber Security, aligning with the ministry’s goals for a digitally empowered nation.
Strengthening Technical Capabilities
The MoU was formalized by Capt. (IN) Saurav Chauhan (Retd), Director (O&M) of BECIL, and Mr. Niranjan Vaishnav, Registrar of C-DAC. The partnership bridges the gap between research and practical consultancy, aiming to deliver turnkey solutions across various sectors of the economy.
